INTRODUCTION
This is where you will find news from the Twincast community regarding strategy and tournament information for the Type 2 Constructed format.
The latest type 2 tournament was the County Championships held on the weekend of 28-29th October.
Type 2 Constructed, also known as Standard, is a popular format for Magic the Gathering and most clubs and stores have a tournament atleast once a week. To find a club in your area, then check out our Tournaments page
At a glance, a Guide to Type 2
Make a deck of atleast 60 cards from the following expansions (as at 28 October 2006) :-
Timespiral
Coldsnap
Dissension
Guildpact
Ravnica
9th Edition
You may include up to four copies of any one card, however uou may include ANY number of BASIC land cards.
You must also bring a 15 card sideboard. Constructed matches are usually best two out of three, in games two and three you may swap up to 15 cards from your sideboard into your main deck.
The same limits to deck construction apply to your sideboard.
In total you may not have more than four copies of any one card in your main deck and sideboard unless they are basic lands.
